We're excited to announce that we introduced the Timeline feature on the Shipment Details page last week. This new addition enables merchants to quickly view the timeline of an order's lifecycle, including when it was created and fulfilled and the specific notifications sent from the Rush.App system. Currently, the supported notification channels are Yotpo SMS & Email, Klaviyo, and Shopify Fulfillment events.

It's important to note that while we display which systems were notified about these changes, you must ensure that your system is configured to trigger emails or SMSes based on these notifications.

Looking ahead into 2024, we are committed to enhancing this feature by providing more robust data and comprehensive information related to the shipment and order lifecycle in the timeline. Stay tuned for more updates.

Also, we've introduced the capability to view messages from two carriers at once. This dual-display ensures you have all the necessary information at your fingertips.

Addressing flexibility, we've now enabled you to change the last-mile carrier. This feature is helpful, primarily when the first-mile carrier reports wrong information about the next mile carrier.

Gain control over your shipment notifications with our new mute and unmute options. It is ideal when you prefer not to send updates to customers. 

We added the Smart Estimated Delivery Date date inside your shipment details as additional information

And the best part is we also let you see the carrier's estimated arrival time (when the carrier supports it) and how it compares to Smart EDD.

But that's not all.

We're also working on bringing you features like viewing shipment details from a customer's perspective, a list of all shipment flags, and the ability to manage custom metadata for each shipment, as well as a timeline with all notifications sent related to the shipment and order.

Moreover, the Shipments search page now includes a much-requested functionality - the Over Quota Shipments Filter.

This feature allows for more efficient management, allowing you to select and process shipments exceeding your plan's quota manually.

We rolled out several enhancements to the Shipment Search and Dashboard functionalities.

Key improvements include the addition of a filter by the destination country and several specialized filtering options:

  • Domestic Shipments: Those beginning and ending within the same country.
  • International Shipments: Those originating in one country and delivered in another.
  • Returned Shipments: Those sent back to the sender or origin or returned elsewhere.
  • Expired Shipments: We no longer track these shipments due to a lack of updates from the carrier for over 40 days. The Expired status will be phased out, and such shipments will remain in their last known state. Still, merchants will be able to retract them on demand.
  • Stalled Shipments: Shipments with delays as reported by the carrier.
  • Problematic Shipments: Shipments that are delayed, returned, or have any delivery-related issues.
  • Muted Shipments: Shipments for which we won't send notifications. For example, if they're added 24 hours after a delivery event, and the status is delivered, we won't send it. Users can choose to unmute these manually. We've also introduced an option for users to specify which shipments shouldn't trigger notifications by muting them. You can see all muted shipments with the bell icon in the shipment search.

Additionally, we've enabled customers to click and filter shipments from the dashboard page directly.

The Notification Activity Feed plays a vital role within the Rush app, showcasing all messages from the Rush system to customers or third-party applications. It enables you to track each event generated for every order and the corresponding recipients of these event-linked notifications.

It aims to ensure complete transparency and traceability for every event dispatched via the Rush system, encompassing detailed information used. Approval Required - Shopify App Permissions Update

We have recently enhanced the functionality of our Shopify App. The updates involve permissions changes, allowing us to edit tracking number links set by third-party fulfillment.

As an existing customer, you may encounter a prompt in your app related to these changes.

This prompt will guide you to reaffirm these new permissions.

Select the "Update" button, and you're ready.

If you are not in the administration of the account - you will see an error trying to approve permissions. Contact your Shopify administrator or owner of the store to approve them.

Introducing on demand reprocessing of Shopify fulfillments tracking information

We are excited to announce a new feature that enables historical reprocessing of Shopify Fulfillments tracking information. We understand the difficulties your guys face when their tracking links don't redirect to their preferred tracking page - for any reason (fulfillment center override, another app changing them, etc).

We've introduced three customization options to make the tracking process more tailored to your needs:

  1. If you wish to replace the tracking number link with your store's domain while retaining the carrier name and tracking number, select the "Replace tracking number URLs with your store homepage" option. Please note that we can only add or replace tracking links, not remove them. This option is an alternative to clean up any links.
  2. To direct all tracking number links to the default Rush tracking page while keeping the carrier name and tracking number intact, choose the "Default Rush tracking page" option.
  3. If you prefer all tracking number links to redirect to the carrier's tracking page, select the "Default carrier tracking page" option. If we don't have the carrier tracking link, we will associate it with your store domain.

Furthermore, this functionality can be retroactively applied to all your orders from the past 3 to 60 days.

We're excited to announce the release of a new feature - Permalink. True to its name, Permalink provides a unique, trackable link to your store's tracking page. This feature is now available for customization in our Growth plans but is available for all subscription plans, including free.

The advent of multiple tracking pages introduced a challenge for store owners - ensuring that customers always land on the default tracking page, regardless of changes made to the page's link. The last thing anyone wants is for customers to encounter a 404 error.

We've developed a solution to this issue. With our new Permalink feature, merchants can create a fixed link that leads to their tracking page. This link can be hardcoded and placed anywhere, ensuring a consistent and smooth customer experience.

Here are some of the benefits of using the Permalink feature:

  1. It's a short link based on the domain This means less text in your SMS communications.
  2. It can be customized and branded to your needs, and its purpose is immediately clear.
  3. It supports GET variables, like search=ORDER. This will initiate a search for the order on the tracking page.
  4. Looking to the future, it will simplify migration from other platforms like Trackror. You can redirect all your tracking links to, and we'll redirect users to your tracking page with the search result. This makes the migration process easier for store owners and ensures a superior customer experience.

We released a new feature designed to make managing multiple stores a breeze! You can now easily add all your stores to your account and access them from a single stores page, eliminating the need to log in to each one separately, then inside Rush. This should make your team's live easier :)

Here's how to take advantage of this convenient new feature:

Access Your Stores: Click on your profile dropdown in the top right corner of your account dashboard, and select "Stores" from the menu.

You will be redirected to a page displaying all your connected stores, making it simple to manage them in one place.

To add another store, click the "Connect another store" button at the top of the page.

From the next page, you can select your preferred eCommerce platform, such as Shopify, by clicking the corresponding button. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your store.

We had deprecated the ability to customize carrier information in your tracking page configurations. 

Moving forward for any customization or change on carrier visualizations use Carrier masking .

New feature - Carrier masking

We had released a new - more granular way to present carriers to your visitors. Now you can:

  • Change (mask) specific or all carriers;
  • Fully hide specific or all carriers;

Go your shipments and click on Carrier masking

So now you can hide only Specific carriers from your tracking page.

So carries like SFExpress:

While other carriers will be shown:

Note moving forward we will be deprecating the Carrier information box from the tracking page options at the start of Oct 2022, so you will be able to manage carrier preference from one place only.

Improved feature - Blacklisting

We had released also better blacklisting options - improved search and replace functionality and replace with empty.

If you select this particular empty option - we will remove all cities/countries that are related to Hong Kong and any city/country in Asia. Basically, for this setup you can skip Hong Kong, as Hong Kong is in Asia.

Now you can also pick a very specific city to replace in Blacklisting, and we will replace all occurrences of the cities in Asia with Rouen, France.

Improved Dashboard information summary provides a detailed view of shipments with different statuses. These details include:

  • Updates on shipment status.
  • Total order value displayed.
  • Number of returned shipments and their total order value.
  • Number of shipments in Failed to deliver status for more than 3 days and its total order value.
  • Number of shipments in Pickup ready status for more than 3 days and its total order value.
  • Number of shipments without carrier updates for more than 2 weeks.
  • Number of shipments without carrier updates for more than 3 weeks.
  • Number of shipments with expired tracking numbers.
  • Number of unfulfilled orders and their total order value.

The aim of this report is to provide store owners with a hawk-eye view of their brandโ€™s performance and to take appropriate action where necessary.

An improved user interface for Shipments which is easier to navigate through and provides additional support with features like:

New functionality: Now carrier messages can be translated to the tracking page language selected.

This improvement aims to help all merchants that ship products to non-English customers, to translate carrier the messages to their native languages.

Improved localization interface of Tracking Page

The localization section of the tracking page was revamped to ease the setup of languages on the tracking page.

Language Configuration

The language section is split into two cards now:

  1. The first section helps you configure your languages settings on the tracking page
  2. The second section, stores your customer language (languages that we do not support out-of-the-box)

Single Language

The primary language will be in English by default. The language can be updated via a dropdown selection.

Multi-Language support

When multi-languages on the tracking page are enabled, there is an option to either use the full set of languages supported by Rush or shortlisted a desired list of languages. 

    Your Languages

    Languages not supported by Rush can be added to the tracking page.

    The new language here can be used as the tracking page default language, as added to the shortlist.

    To improve a few fiction areas, we release Rush App, with few changes.

    1. Blacklisting is now part of Shipments

    As blacklisting applies to all shipments, and anywhere we display it, it did not make sense to keep it on the tracking page. For this reason, it is now under the Shipments section:

    This is a UX change that we will keep having, as we want to allow customers to have quick access to more information and good practice.

    Today we released a major UI change of the Rush App:

    • Now app opens in standalone mode rather been embedded inside the Shopify window, giving more space to present information
    • The tracking page is accessible from the left menu, making it easy to access and find
    • Shipments are not open in the new tab, but in the same windows, and can be paginated via the navigation
    • Language picked is moved in the top menu for easy access.

    Switching default shipment notification email

    As of Jan 20th, 2022, we are switching Rush Smart Email Notifications default email from to for all Shipments and Order events sent out.

    All functionalities will be kept the same, and you are impacted only if you are using Rush Smart Emails. 

    As a note, all email replies are always going to your default store customer email set, not to rush.

    Change is needed as part of the migration from to domain.

    Released ability to add any language on your tracking page

    By default, Rush provides 25 languages for your tracking page, however worldwide there are more than 160 languages. For that reason we released the ability to add your own languages on tracking and thank you page:

    Klaviyo now receives 3 new variables on top of the current:

    • order_label - The full order label including the hash and any letters you might use #ST1001, #MS444113;
    • order_note - optional, if there is any note added to the order;
    • order_tags - optional, if there are tags related to the order. It is a Klaviyo's list, that lets you further filtration on triggers. See below:

    The tracking page received a language overhaul that is the first step towards a really multilingual experience. Now you select the default language for your customers:

    If you want for us to directly switch the user on a specific language based on the country they are in, you can select the Auto-select language option.

    Note: that Geotagging (a technique we use to map the IP of the visitor to the country they are opening the page from) is not 100% correct, but more than 97%. We also let users pick their own language from the list, so if they pick English, but they live in Denmark, the next time they open the page, it will be in English automatically. This is done to improve the user experience.

    Open shipment details in a new window

    We received multiple requests where seeing shipment details and moving back to all shipments is too slow. Another frequent request is to be able to see multiple shipments simultaneously.Now when you click on shipment, it automatically opens in a new tab.You can also share that link directly with anyone. Just keep in mind that this link is not temporary and it will be active until the app is uninstalled.Bulk Mark as delivered, shipment option


    You can now mark easily all shipments that you wish directly as delivered. Keep in mind that manually marking them as delivered does not triggest any notifications. And we no longer keep track or update the shipments data.

    Releasing Estimated Time of Delivery/Arrival (ETA)
